Madeline

just a bit of romantic pretty to brighten up my cold cold January.Darla by Tanya Whelan. 6 half yard cuts from Quilt Taffy. i like to buy more than i need. then there are big pieces left over to play with.at the last moment i changed my fabric choices from just the pink and red ones. to include the green. and although i am pleased with the outcome. let's just say. i-plan-to-make-this-one-again.it's on the smallish side and comes together fairly quickly.made star points using the geese ruler. i know. my ruler doesn't have the size we need. i followed directions for the one that finishes 1-1/2 in. x 3 in. and then trimmed it down.

karen, karen, karen!! I love how that turned out. Super love the red gingham with it. I wasn't madly in love with the madeline, but YOURS I love!! I just need to think outside the color wheel a little more.

Great job!!

Very pretty! Terrific to brighten a January day. I was at QBTY today for my last Hunter's Star class and Laura and I were talking about you! Good things!

Beautiful- love the colours with the wall colour. Why not make 4 slightly different and join them to make a larger one?

Love the freshness -so Spring like.

So pretty. Red gingham is my favorite. I bet it was fun making this at this time of year - a bit of spring - all sewn up. I really like this pattern.
