those big brown points were not supposed to have a seam. but i didn't have the other recommended ruler. and temporarily forgot how to work around it. incidently that's why i skipped Block 6.

Noone will see those seams! Especially if you stop pointing them out ;) Your block looks great!
I sometimes have extra seams but it is because I either had to piece small pieces of fabric to make a bigger piece, or, more normally, I cut the fabric wrong and had to make it bigger. No one has ever noticed.
Great block Karen. I didn't realise the seam wasn't meant to be there until you pointed it out.
