as long as i have scraps. i guess the answer is Yes.
a blog which i cannot remember posted a quilt from a show & it reminded me of the Trip Around The World quilt that i made as a wedding present many years ago. i should post that picture. only took 1. & it's pre-digital times. i even think that i typed the label on my manual typewriter at work. could i be that old. yes i could. & i think that i ironed it. & ironed it. & ironed it. until i thought that the ink would not run. i'll have to call my old friend up & see how it's holding up. & how she's holding up. & see if she will take a picture of that label. what i do remember was that it was before rotary cutter times. does anyone know when the first rotary cutter was introduced?
here's my old book.
& the cardboard templates that i traced around with a pencil. the notches were to be cut so that you could both line up the strips for sewing & after sewing you would know where to cut. oh yeah. the good old days. this pattern is not in my old book.
i made some fabric changes. the middle section needed more contrast. tricky if i'm going for a muted blended palette. & this is how it looks now.
i suppose i like these one-block-at-a-time projects because i just don't know what will happen next.
