Christmas, Then Halloween
it's official. Christmas is coming before Halloween this year.
i've completed 5 cottage blocks. & have all my other pieces cut out ready to sew. i love mine. & i love all of the ones i keep seeing out there. check out the virtual quilt that T of Purple and Paisley has posted here. it would appear that i am not the only one who believes in this thing called Christmas.

you do just what i do...cut every darn piece out and then put together like an assembly line...lol...love your fabrics...and even the ones you wouldn't think are christmasy look great!...you have a good eye for color...=)
Nah-uh.....(does that translate to no?) I was just in Target and I could only find halloween m&m's. couldn't even find just plain ole' yellow, blue, green and red. Only black and orange. :) I'm watching all of you clever people making these adorable cottage houses and I'll be whining here at home. :(
ahh.. angels in the windows and snowmen on the doors. I love them already!
This is one of my favorite steps. The little piles of cute fabric all cut up and ready to put through the presser foot. They are going to be smashing Karen.

okay, at first I was like nah I don't really love , love the cottage blocks I am not going to do it, knowing I would probably regret it, yep they are looking cuter and cuter. woulda, coulda, shoulda. I will continue to look on with envy.
