No Need For Tutorial, She Says

i told my niece that a blog friend wanted to know how i did that to her jeans. & she thinks. & she points. & she's serious. & she says. but. didn't you just take out that seam. & then sew that piece in. & blah blah blah. & isn't that what you did.& i said why yes that is what i did.

book looks like a prop. but i really was reading it when she came home from school. & i hadn't seen her for a long time. & she was wearing those jeans. so i picked her up & tackled her down. of course she was laughing because she could totally have stopped me. & the book just didn't fall off the couch.

Okay, so what's your point? no tutorial??? no in depth reporting?? no pictures of ripped seams and scissors?? RIP OFF I say. Actually, that picture really helps me ! LOVE this idea. How clever are you??!!

Hia Karen, yup I have a daughter like that! I reckon we're just unappreciated geniuses. LOL :-) Love the jeans they are so original. I heard tale that when flares were in that people put triangles of fabric in from the knees down on normal boot cut jeans.

I do love fabric with denim. You can really put your personality into it. I had a biker friend who got me to sew an outline of a drawing on a jacket-back years ago.
